Product Introduction
Dry-mixed masonry mortar is a specially improved dry-mixed mortar designed and produced with high-quality polymers. It is an improved cement-based dry powder material made by reasonably proportioning high-quality stone well cement, carefully selected fine aggregates and polymer additives. It only needs to be mixed with water on the construction site and then mechanically mixed as required before use.
Product features
It has good workability, strong adhesion, low shrinkage rate and excellent workability.
2. Excellent water retention ensures effective bonding of mortar on dry block base surfaces.
3. It is ready to use after adding water, with stable quality, convenient construction, low consumption and light weight
Application scope
Dry-mixed masonry mortar can be used in the masonry projects of various types of masonry both inside and outside buildings (red bricks, ash-sand bricks, hollow bricks, foam-mixed concrete blocks, rubble stones). It is suitable for wet construction techniques. During construction, the blocks must be wetted as required. Generally, non-structural repairs and slope stabilization, as well as floor base layers, are necessary.
Construction method
1. The surface of the base material should be clean and firm. Remove all loose substances such as dust, grease and particles from the surface of the blocks that may affect the bonding performance.
2. Before construction, common bricks and hollow bricks should be moistened with water in advance, and the moisture content is preferably 10-15%. The moisture content of ash-sand bricks and fly ash bricks should be 5-8%. The masonry process can only be carried out after there is no standing water on the surface of the blocks.
3. Dry-mixed masonry mortar should be used immediately after mixing. It is not allowed to soak dry-mixed masonry mortar in water. Mechanical mixing should be adopted.
4. The water used for mixing dry-mixed masonry mortar must be clean water. The ratio of cement to water should be 1:0.12(for 1000 kilograms of mortar, 120 kilograms of clean water should be mixed). The mixing time should be 3 to 5 minutes starting from the completion of material input. Let the mortar be thoroughly mixed with water until there are no lumps, and then construction can proceed.
5. Use a serrated trowel to fully apply the masonry mortar on the masonry surface of the blocks, with a construction thickness of 5mm to 10mm.
After the masonry of the blocks is completed, the excess slurry on the surface of the blocks should be removed immediately.
7. If the highest temperature during the construction period exceeds 30℃, the prepared slurry must be used up within 3 hours after mixing.
8. Dry-mixed masonry mortar can harden at room temperature. Generally, it does not require curing with alcohol during indoor construction. However, in high-temperature and dry weather, it needs to be watered for curing to ensure the stability of strength.
